Jennifer Diehn grew up in rural Wisconsin and southwest Florida, and now resides in South Carolina. Her entire family has a passion for photography, and she grew up with the bathrooms doubling as darkrooms and the kitchen tables doubling as photo spreads. Jennifer’s photography provided soothing therapy through a difficult chapter of her life, and she decided to pursue a professional career behind the lens. At the age of 38, she returned to school at Greenville Technical College to reach her goal.

Jennifer’s favorite photographic genres include nature, wildlife, landscape, narrative, portrait, and still lifes, but she does not limit herself and is always open to new avenues. After academic success with a First Place Award for Fine Art Photography in the Greenville Technical College’s Annual Student Exhibition and a submission in the Click 646 Photographic Collective Scholastic Invitational in 2011, she began her professional career part-time as a portrait freelancer in 2012 and in 2017, she graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Communications/Photography. In addition to her photographic endeavors, Jennifer is employed full-time in merchandising for an international retail corporation. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, old movies, baking, music, camping, bowhunting, fishing, swimming and hiking.
